I registered on the website earlier but I can't login.
When you register on the website, we send a confirmation email to your email address. You will need to click on the link in the email in order to validate your email address and then you will be able to login.
I've forgotten my password. How do I request a new one?

Click on Update Account (under the Register/Login heading) and you will be able to modify any of your details, except your email address.
How will you use our personal data?
We respect your privacy and will not disclose or sell your data to any third parties. We will only use your personal data ie. your email address, for our own marketing purposes. We may also need to send you updates or information about the website or world record attempt, but we aim to keep these emails to a minimum.
I get an error message when trying to upload a photo.
Please copy and paste the error message into an email and forward it to us. Our technical team will fix it as soon as possible.
I have uploaded my photo but it doesn't display properly on the site.
Please send us the details of the photo you have uploaded and we will endeavour to fix the problem. We may in some cases request you to send us the photo by email so we can upload it for you.
Where does the URL of my website get displayed?
Your website URL is displayed on the right hand side next to every photo that you upload. You need to click on the thumbnail to enlarge the photo and see the URL. Clicking on one of your uploaded images in The Wall will also take you to your own website.
Why do we have to name the object exactly when we upload a photo?
We, like you, love travel and photography and because we are searching for a million unique places on Earth, we need to know where and what the image is, else we would not necessarily be able to tell whether there are duplicate images of the same place.
Who owns the copyright of the photos submitted?
The copyright of any submitted photo remains with the person who took the photo. We do not lay claim to any copyright. We also protect your enlarged photos with our watermark so no-one else can copy them.
How do you know how many votes you have?
The number of votes that an image has accumulated is displayed when you click on the thumbnail to enlarge the image.
Will you sell our photos on this website?
It has never been our main intention to actively sell your photos however, we are aware that some of our users might want to try and sell their photos through this site. We are not going to become yet another stock photo agency! So we are going to let you decide! By simply clicking on either the 'Sell' or 'Don't Sell' buttons when you register, you can choose. You can always change your mind later and update your account accordingly. The buying functionality will only be developed and added to the site later if there is enough demand for it. If your photos do get sold, we will pay you a royalty fee of 70% - 80% of the value of the photo.
How are we going to make money from our photos?
If you have opted for selling your photos through this website, this is one way you may make money from your photos. However, we have some far more exciting ideas which we cannot disclose right now. You may also make money from your photos if your photo gets used by us, because we will pay you a royalty fee (percentage tba) based on the value of the photo.
